Spectators: 7049 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fausto Oliveiro started the match with the kick off. Baldomero Montrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Domiku, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Enaut in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Sotero saved Infierno Rojo from getting behind. Fausto Oliveiro struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Alfredo Sotero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lagunilla. 13 minutes into the game, Nestor Otsando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lagunilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Infierno Rojo the free kick. The supporters of Infierno Rojo booed when Lagunilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Otsando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Oliveiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Sotero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Lagunilla:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Infierno Rojo:s goal. If Candido Domiku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Enaut in the 28th minute of play. Alfredo Sotero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Oliveiro's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Filiberto Enaut might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredo Sotero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filiberto Enaut ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Fausto Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagunilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Oliveiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Sotero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Oliveiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Candido Domiku to make the kick off. Filiberto Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Sotero having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Lagunilla's Nestor Otsando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Sotero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Serafin Ritchie fired a really elegant long shot, but Alfredo Sotero threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Alfredo Sotero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Enaut in the 67th minute. Filiberto Enaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nestor Otsando was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. In the 71st minute, Nestor Otsando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Sotero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Oliveiro in the 73rd minute. 76 minutes into the game, Lagunilla's Fausto Oliveiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Sotero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Alfredo Sotero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Oliveiro in the 80th minute of play. Efrain Perico kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Alfredo Sotero was a little too slow when Serafin Ritchie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-2. Infierno Rojo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Fausto Oliveiro scored to the left of an out of position Alfredo Sotero, making the score, 1-3. Infierno Rojo's Filiberto Richie got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lagunilla's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
