The Lehmann fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Lehmann's Joel Elazar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Elazar in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nereo Garaona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in El Raton Juan Carlos's zone, Joel Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Garaona came out of the goal and Joel Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the El Raton Juan Carlos defense, Joel Elazar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nereo Garaona. The El Raton Juan Carlos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Garaona should have stopped the shot. Ceferino Isaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nereo Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Elazar was the one to do the kick off. Mariano Aureo hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Lehmann's Joel Elazar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Garaona narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Elazar in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nereo Garaona saved El Raton Juan Carlos from getting behind. When the final whistle sounded Lehmann left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Raton Juan Carlos.
