Ivan Pueblo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Frederic Poll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Leopoldo Oro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederic Poll was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Jockey Club Salta FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Leopoldo Oro hit a great ball. The supporters of Revancha FC booed when Jockey Club Salta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Sabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jockey Club Salta FC's zone, Rodolfo Lawrence stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Manni came out of the goal and Rodolfo Lawrence tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frederic Poll during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Revancha FC's Frederic Poll got a free kick in the 26th minute. Silvano Precioso came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Jockey Club Salta FC's Ivan Pueblo. But to his dismay, Ivan Pueblo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cipriano Manni made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Frederic Poll sent off a good shot on target. If Frederic Poll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jockey Club Salta FC's Diego Tristan got a free kick in the 40th minute. Rodolfo Lawrence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Manni having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Silvano Precioso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mario Maria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Frederic Poll's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cipriano Manni was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Mario Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Manni having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Frederic Poll made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jockey Club Salta FC's Cipriano Manni tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Jockey Club Salta FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Modesto Felipillo hit a great ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Frederic Poll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revancha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederic Poll was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Lawrence notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Jockey Club Salta FC's Cipriano Manni. Cipriano Manni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Revancha FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
