With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Eutropio in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Montrell saved Lagunilla from getting behind. A collision led to Lagunilla getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Remigio Iigo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lagunilla's zone, Alberto Eutropio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomero Montrell came out of the goal and Alberto Eutropio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Montrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Musko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiberto Enaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Danilo Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to MAX POWER Mato Champ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Romulo Cordeiro hit a great ball. Jeronimo Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Montrell having to interfere. Alberto Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Montrell having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Eutropio was the one to do the kick off. Jeronimo Musko took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Montrell. Baldomero Montrell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alberto Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jeronimo Musko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alberto Eutropio came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the MAX POWER Mato Champ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Eutropio couldn't finish the play. After having played for 96 minutes, Filiberto Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lagunilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Enaut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MAX POWER Mato Champ played a much better game than Lagunilla and deserved their victory. The Lagunilla players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
