Filiberto Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Garaona having to interfere. After 7 played minutes El Raton Juan Carlos got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Kiliz. 9 minutes into the match, Lagunilla's Filiberto Enaut sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Garaona narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elpidio Reno struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Baldomero Montrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Raton Juan Carlos. 20 minutes into the game, Fausto Oliveiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nereo Garaona was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Lagunilla's Baldomero Montrell got control of the ball when Elpidio Reno tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Fausto Oliveiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lagunilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Oliveiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nereo Garaona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the game, Alejo Oliverio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Raton Juan Carlos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lagunilla the free kick. The supporters of Lagunilla booed when El Raton Juan Carlos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Oliverio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafin Ritchie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nereo Garaona. El Raton Juan Carlos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in El Raton Juan Carlos's zone, Filiberto Enaut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Garaona came out of the goal and Filiberto Enaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Oliveiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Garaona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Oliveiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Nereo Garaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Enaut in the 45th minute of play. Alejo Oliverio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Baldomero Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Hurko to make the kick off. El Raton Juan Carlos's Elpidio Reno got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldomero Montrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Hurko in the 57th minute of the match. Lagunilla's Baldomero Montrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Reno in the 58th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Lagunilla got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Ritchie. Filiberto Enaut succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 66th playminute. If Filiberto Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, El Raton Juan Carlos's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Oliveiro came free, but Nereo Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nestor Otsando fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lagunilla's protests and gave Nestor Otsando a yellow card for diving instead. Nestor Otsando hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Omar Hurko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Montrell having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Lagunilla's Filiberto Enaut nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nereo Garaona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. When Moises Haritzeder fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lagunilla's protests and gave Moises Haritzeder a yellow card for diving instead. After 87th play minutes Omar Hurko shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Baldomero Montrell and just under the crossbar into goal. Baldomero Montrell came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by El Raton Juan Carlos's Omar Hurko. But to his dismay, Omar Hurko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Lagunilla were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
