The Infierno Rojo fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Infierno Rojo's Filiberto Richie looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Filiberto Richie came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Infierno Rojo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Richie couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Filiberto Richie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cirilo Lia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Atraucó AFC booed when Infierno Rojo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Infierno Rojo's goalkeeper Alfredo Sotero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Filiberto Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Milian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo George having to interfere. In the 46th minute Candido Domiku shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Candido Domiku came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Infierno Rojo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Candido Domiku couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Lia to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Infierno Rojo's Candido Domiku ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mateo George. Mateo George yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Mateo George made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Casimiro Milian sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Domiku in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Filiberto Richie in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mateo George, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mateo George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Domiku in the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Infierno Rojo's Candido Domiku dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 74 minutes into the match, Atraucó AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Candido Domiku came free, but Mateo George reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Filiberto Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Milian was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Candido Domiku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candido Domiku, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
