Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alberto Eutropio got the match started through his kick off. Constantino Sabino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Danilo Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Marques was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Constantino Sabino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Constantino Sabino really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, MAX POWER Mato Champ's Gaston Silbestre broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Danilo Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Pueblo in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Alberto Eutropio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Jockey Club Salta FC's Cipriano Manni. Cipriano Manni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Uriel Ferman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Eutropio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Constantino Sabino came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Jockey Club Salta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Sabino couldn't finish the play. Danilo Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jockey Club Salta FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! In the 46th minute, Astor Grabiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Jockey Club Salta FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MAX POWER Mato Champ were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantino Sabino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Maximino Pacorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Grabiel might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cipriano Manni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Astor Grabiel ran back to his position shaking his head. Cipriano Manni came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by MAX POWER Mato Champ's Romulo Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Romulo Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 57th minute, Alberto Eutropio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Alberto Eutropio took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Cipriano Manni to make any attempt to save it. Ivan Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Marques having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Constantino Sabino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. 75 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Musko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cipriano Manni. Jockey Club Salta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeronimo Musko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. Jeronimo Musko took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Manni. Cipriano Manni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. Jeronimo Musko struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Cipriano Manni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAX POWER Mato Champ. If Alberto Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Manni made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Jeronimo Musko sent off a good shot on target. Jeronimo Musko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Manni having to interfere. With a little luck, Jockey Club Salta FC's Cipriano Manni got control of the ball when Jeronimo Musko tried to sneak it across the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, MAX POWER Mato Champ's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Pueblo came free, but Danilo Marques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MAX POWER Mato Champ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
