The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felipe Nazario came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by La 12 Vive's Anibal Jon. But to his dismay, Anibal Jon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. CMJ F.C.'s Felipe Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Frechoso in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in CMJ F.C.'s zone, Anibal Jon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Nazario came out of the goal and Anibal Jon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Frechoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Felipe Nazario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Basilio Bermudo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Primitivo Janpier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Estavan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Primitivo Janpier managed to get in a good position for a shot. CMJ F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Primitivo Janpier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Estavan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Alvaro Caradaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. CMJ F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Caradaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Estavan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alvaro Caradaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. When Anibal Jon came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the La 12 Vive fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anibal Jon couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the game, Basilio Bermudo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La 12 Vive's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CMJ F.C. the free kick. Felipe Nazario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La 12 Vive. Celedonio Estavan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Janpier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CMJ F.C.'s Felipe Nazario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Jon in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Primitivo Janpier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Estavan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Nazario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Jon in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, CMJ F.C.'s Felipe Nazario got control of the ball when Filiberto Frechoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. CMJ F.C.'s Primitivo Janpier got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Primitivo Janpier might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celedonio Estavan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primitivo Janpier ran back to his position shaking his head. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. La 12 Vive walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
