The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Boni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramon Ofelio's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Ramon Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guaberto Boni having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Marz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Marz in the 51st minute of play forced Profes FC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Locaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Leo Marz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Locaio was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The Spegazzini F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Profes FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
