After 7 minutes of play, Geuvfj's Aurelio Abaunza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionuț Ioviță was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geuvfj's Inocencio Jobo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Geuvfj from getting a goal against them. When Katthus's Amadeo Mundo in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Geuvfj's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Aurelio Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geuvfj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Abaunza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Peruxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ionuț Ioviță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionuț Ioviță showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Eskuin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Inocencio Jobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Mundo in the 29th minute of play. When Geuvfj's Aurelio Abaunza in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Katthus's goalie prevented a goal. When Paulino Oriol fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Katthus's protests and gave Paulino Oriol a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Katthus's Paulino Oriol got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Geuvfj's Inocencio Jobo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Geuvfj from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Katthus booed when Geuvfj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Geuvfj were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeo Mundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Katthus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Rodolfo Peruxu scored to the left of an out of position Ionuț Ioviță, making the score, 0-3. 53 minutes into the game, Geuvfj's Aurelio Abaunza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionuț Ioviță made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Aurelio Abaunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionuț Ioviță having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Anibal Boni made a precise shot to the right of Inocencio Jobo. Geuvfj's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 64th minute, Albino Eskuin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ionuț Ioviță was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. A collision led to Geuvfj getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Raul Jon hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Amadeo Mundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Katthus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. If Anibal Boni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Mundo in the 75th minute of play forced Geuvfj's goalkeeper Inocencio Jobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Anibal Boni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Jobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes of play, Katthus's Anibal Boni made it 4-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Jobo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Rodolfo Peruxu took a quick shot and it went in 4-6 without a chance for Ionuț Ioviță to make any attempt to save it. 88 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Peruxu notched a goal, 4-7, to the right of Katthus's Ionuț Ioviță. Ionuț Ioviță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ionuț Ioviță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Peruxu in the 92nd minute of play. When Mauricio Cefero fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Katthus's protests and gave Mauricio Cefero a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Katthus getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mauricio Cefero hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Albino Eskuin in the 98th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Ionuț Ioviță's left hand side. The Geuvfj players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
