Club Atlético Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teodelina AFC the free kick. The supporters of Teodelina AFC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Teodelina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Goren came free, but Maximiliano Gilesindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Rene Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Goren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Gilesindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Teodelina AFC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Oliverio didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Federigo in the 20th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Ruben Casomiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Evelio Federigo came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Teodelina AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Federigo couldn't finish the play. Evelio Federigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's Ruben Casomiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Federigo in the 34th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Teodelina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Handi. After 37 minutes, Elpidio Quexal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Teodelina AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Teodelina AFC booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Quexal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evelio Federigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ruben Casomiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Alvaro Maureo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Maureo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 59 minutes, Erasmo Oliverio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Atlanta and the Teodelina AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Oliverio. After some careless play in the Teodelina AFC defense, Rene Goren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximiliano Gilesindo. The Teodelina AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximiliano Gilesindo should have stopped the shot. Rene Goren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Evelio Federigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Casomiro made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Esteban Dorio sent off a good shot on target. Fermin Rocio kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Bartuelo. 81 minutes in the game, Evelio Federigo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ruben Casomiro having to interfere. Albino Abilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Casomiro having to interfere. Elvio Bartuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvio Bartuelo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvaro Maureo was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Alvaro Maureo got a free kick in the 89th minute. Esteban Dorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ruben Casomiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Federigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Casomiro having to interfere. Teodelina AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
