Orlando Fraco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Caitano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Salbatore in the 15th minute of play forced ColoFC's goalkeeper Inocencio Caitano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Fraco during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Orlando Fraco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inocencio Caitano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Fraco went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gonzalo Mel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rosendo Pirmin in the 25th minute of the match. Inocencio Caitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Fraco, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, ColoFC's Ubaldo Tuste nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonzalo Mel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Sanford booed when ColoFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guido Cisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Conrado Salbatore came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Sanford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Salbatore couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, ColoFC's Osvaldo Eneko got a free kick in the 37th minute. Conrado Salbatore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Caitano having to make a save. Conrado Salbatore struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Inocencio Caitano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sanford. Guido Cisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Salbatore was the one to do the kick off. Gonzalo Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosendo Pirmin, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Arnoldo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Sanford's Orlando Fraco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Ubaldo Lluques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Inocencio Caitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Salbatore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igor Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Horacio Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Gonzalo Mel. Sanford's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. ColoFC's Albano Vito suffered a sprained foot after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Igor Donio charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Donio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ColoFC booed when Sanford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Donio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute, Conrado Salbatore reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Inocencio Caitano. The goal made the score 2-4. When the final whistle sounded Sanford left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ColoFC.
