Florentino Rolands short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Leonel Maidana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alfredo Tebaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Elias Theobald fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taquello's protests and gave Elias Theobald a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sunchu FC booed when Taquello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Roland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Koldobika charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Koldobika the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sunchu FC booed when Taquello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Koldobika didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Horacio Baleren in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 38 minutes into the match, Taquello's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Baleren came free, but Leonel Maidana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alfredo Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Baleren in the 46th minute of play forced Taquello's goalkeeper Leonel Maidana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Horacio Baleren made the kick off in the second half. Mariano Ekialde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taquello's Alfredo Tebaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Taquello's Mariano Ekialde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blas Sindo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 65 minutes into the match, Taquello's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Roland came free, but Leonel Maidana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mariano Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes Taquello got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Koldobika. Leonel Maidana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Roland in the 81st minute of play. Elias Theobald kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Sunchu FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Faustino Txaran hit a great ball. Saul Mirande was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leonel Maidana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Baleren in the 94th minute of the match. The Taquello players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
