The supporters of C.A.BOCA JRS booed when Ramallo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Oliviero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Herminio Urti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Patricio Goiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Baldomiro Regis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Ramallo FC got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Oliviero. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ulises Esiquio sped through Ramallo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tiburcio Dalmai. In the 37th minute, Tadeo Enekoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Baldomiro Regis came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ramallo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Regis couldn't finish the play. C.A.BOCA JRS's Patricio Goiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.BOCA JRS from getting a goal against them. Delmiro Diagur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Dalmai having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Regis to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ramallo FC's Horacio Pereyra got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Patricio Goiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Regis in the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to Ramallo FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fernando Eleder hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Edgardo Acosta sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Tiburcio Dalmai threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Edgardo Acosta this time. Ulises Esiquio's late challenge caught a Ramallo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Esiquio helped the player get up and apologised. Ulises Esiquio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Herminio Urti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Goiz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Urti in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Goiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.BOCA JRS's zone, Herminio Urti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Goiz came out of the goal and Herminio Urti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Ramallo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Esiquio came free, but Tiburcio Dalmai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Ulises Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Dalmai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Araoz succeeded in the game's 79th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Tiburcio Dalmai was a little too slow when Ulises Esiquio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-3. Patricio Goiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Regis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
