In the 3rdth minute of the game Leo Araoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Negritos y Asociados's Lorenzo Frasco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Negritos y Asociados's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Esiquio came free, but Lorenzo Frasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Leo Araoz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lorenzo Frasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. C.A.BOCA JRS's Patricio Goiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.BOCA JRS from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Valentin Isauro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Patricio Goiz, passed just outside the right post. 20 minutes into the game, Felix Ovando cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Patricio Goiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Negritos y Asociados's Lorenzo Frasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulises Esiquio in the 25th minute of play. If Ulises Esiquio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Frasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Esiquio in the 28th minute of the match. Valentin Isauro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Negritos y Asociados's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Negritos y Asociados's zone, Leo Araoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lorenzo Frasco came out of the goal and Leo Araoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Frasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Araoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Araoz in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lorenzo Frasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 played minutes Negritos y Asociados got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Pello. In the 59th minute of the match Edgardo Acosta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Frasco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leo Araozs short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Lorenzo Frasco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 66th minute Ulises Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Frasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Diagur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Frasco having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Araoz got free with Lorenzo Frasco in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Negritos y Asociados:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A.BOCA JRS:s goal. The supporters of C.A.BOCA JRS booed when Negritos y Asociados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Galo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ulises Esiquio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Goiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Ovando in the 89th minute of play. Leo Araoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lorenzo Frasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Araoz got free with Lorenzo Frasco in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C.A.BOCA JRS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
