In the 17th minute, Baldomiro Eliazar sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guillermina AFC's Eleuterio Castel didn't even have to move. In the 19th minute Baldomiro Eliazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Castel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Castel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Gines in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Guillermina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Leheren to maneuver through the defense. Guillermina AFC's Eleuterio Castel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Gines in the 30th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Guillermina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Llin came free, but Eleuterio Castel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Paz FC's Matias Gines got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Llin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eleuterio Castel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Guillermina AFC's Eleuterio Castel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Eliazar in the 40th minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Abelardo Llin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guillermina AFC's Eleuterio Castel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Carlos Paz FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abelardo Llin was the one to do the kick off. Eleuterio Castel stood somewhat misplaced when Abelardo Llin came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 51 minute. In the 57th minute, Carlos Paz FC's Isaias Veremundo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Isaias Veremundo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. Conrado Ebardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Isaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Tomás Isaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Leheren, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Carlos Paz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Ebardo came free, but Tomás Isaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Carlos Paz FC's Julian Virila ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eleuterio Castel. Eleuterio Castel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 70th minute, Julian Virila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrado Ebardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Guillermina AFC's zone, Julian Virila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Castel came out of the goal and Julian Virila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Castel having to interfere. Matias Gines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eleuterio Castel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Paz FC's Tomás Isaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Ebardo in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guillermina AFC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Castel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 97th minute Julian Virila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Castel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Carlos Paz FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guillermina AFC.
