Coghlan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Argenis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paolo Quin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Gilesindo's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Mateo Argenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Quin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rodolfo Valery managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coghlan's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Valery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Quin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Beltza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aquiles Roland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Beltza's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Lisandro Domiku could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Aquiles Roland made a huge save. In the 86th minute Damaso Gilesindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Quin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
