The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victorino Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Geofredo having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Raul Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia de Nueva Italia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Abaurre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Geofredo having to interfere. In the 16thth minute of the game Raul Abaurre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 11delLeon's Mario Geofredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victorino Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mario Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Academia de Nueva Italia's Aquilino Paul got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The corner led 11delLeon's Marcelino Suero to fire away a dangerous shot which Anacleto Gizon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mario Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorino Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Geofredo having to interfere. Ceferino Berriotxoa hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the 11delLeon defense, Victorino Dolcet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Geofredo. The 11delLeon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Geofredo should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Mario Geofredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victorino Dolcet's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Victorino Dolcet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Geofredo. 11delLeon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Dolcet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Damaso Marko was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. 11delLeon's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Mario Geofredo came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia de Nueva Italia's Victorino Dolcet. But to his dismay, Victorino Dolcet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Victorino Dolcet might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Geofredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorino Dolcet ran back to his position shaking his head. Anacleto Gizon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Berriotxoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. If Romeo Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Abaurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victorino Dolcet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mario Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Academia de Nueva Italia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
