Matias Hondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, vilmapalma's Federico Iraunkor got control of the ball when Delmiro Senio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Delmiro Senio struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Federico Iraunkor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caldao. Federico Iraunkor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmiro Senio in the 16th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Lain during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Casimiro Lain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Hondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Federico Iraunkor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Hondo in the 23rd minute of play forced vilmapalma's goalkeeper Federico Iraunkor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jonathan Niguel fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored vilmapalma's protests and gave Jonathan Niguel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to vilmapalma getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jonathan Niguel hit a great ball. Jonathan Niguel kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of vilmapalma booed when Caldao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Maraman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ildefonso Roderigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Ildefonso Roderigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Mario Maraman came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Caldao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Maraman couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in vilmapalma's zone, Delmiro Senio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Iraunkor came out of the goal and Delmiro Senio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ildefonso Roderigo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. vilmapalma's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Ildefonso Roderigo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Javier Lorencio. That made the score 0-1 in the 68 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Hondo in the 73rd minute of play forced vilmapalma's goalkeeper Federico Iraunkor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Roderigo in the 78th minute of play forced Caldao's goalkeeper Javier Lorencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Maraman's late challenge caught a vilmapalma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Maraman helped the player get up and apologised. 81 minutes into the match, vilmapalma's Gogo Soter broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Javier Lorencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Roderigo in the 84th minute of the match. Delmiro Senio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Federico Iraunkor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, vilmapalma's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Hondo came free, but Federico Iraunkor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Delmiro Senio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atilano Iliana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Javier Lorencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Silvestre Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Javier Lorencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Roderigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
