The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Serafino Olo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Witalis Mleczewski went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Frontera getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Reynaldo Gilesindo hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Witalis Mleczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Olo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Witalis Mleczewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Club Atlético Tigre's Witalis Mleczewski in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 30thth minute of the game Marcelo Gallardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frontera's Serafino Olo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Witalis Mleczewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Serafino Olo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Gallardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Witalis Mleczewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frontera's Serafino Olo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Frontera defense, Pascual Cerilo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafino Olo. The Frontera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafino Olo should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Witalis Mleczewski to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Witalis Mleczewski in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafino Olo saved Frontera from getting behind. Serafino Olo made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Pascual Cerilo sent off a good shot on target. The Frontera fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atlético Tigre were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
