When Timoteo Ortzi came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Ortzi couldn't finish the play. Eulalio Gaufred's late challenge caught a Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 42 minutes, Patricio Luar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talleres and the Medinas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Talleres getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Patricio Luar hit a great ball. The Medinas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Talleres were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Timoteo Ortzi made the kick off in the second half. Rene Raymundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Lano having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Mario Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Medinas's goalkeeper Bonifacio Lano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rene Raymundo. Severo Orti hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Eulalio Gaufred took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alonzo Berriotxoa. Alonzo Berriotxoa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bonifacio Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Ortzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
