The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonardo Cordarrell was the one to do the kick off. Fortineros's Honorio Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Magdaleno in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Magdaleno in the 58th minute of play forced Fortineros's goalkeeper Honorio Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Leonardo Cordarrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortineros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Cordarrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Rosa's Benjamin Lizardi got control of the ball when Roque Ixona tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honorio Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Katia in the 71st minute of play. In the 77th minute, Maximiliano Ordono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute, Rosa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roque Ixona fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fortineros players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rosa.
