The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Lino Fonda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Azeari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Leguizamón, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Ermegildo Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Leguizamón in the 18th minute of the match. Celedonio Liberto let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 19th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Afonso during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Roma's Narciso Afonso got a free kick in the 26th minute. Balacco FC's Cecilio Indar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ermegildo Azeari but with some difficulty. After 28 minutes of play Roma's Lino Fonda was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Clodoveo Leguizamón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ermegildo Azeari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Genaro Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Genaro Mundo made the kick off in the second half. Honorio Silviano kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Balacco FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Silviano. Genaro Mundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Lore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes Roma got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Weterio. After a defensive mix-up in Roma's zone, Celedonio Liberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Azeari came out of the goal and Celedonio Liberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Clodoveo Leguizamón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Azeari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Balacco FC's Bruno Santiago got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ermegildo Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Liberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Balacco FC's zone, Genaro Mundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Su came out of the goal and Genaro Mundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the game, Cecilio Indar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Balacco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roma the free kick. Cecilio Indar kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Balacco FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Roma for a fine match.
