The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diego Esquipula might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Romano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Esquipula ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute of the match Anselmo Abella shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Romano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Anselmo Abella managed to get in a good position for a shot. JuiceWrld's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Abella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Romano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the game, Diego Esquipula cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zeledon Romano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Diego Esquipula left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JuiceWrld fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Justino Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Zeledon Romano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Venancio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Esquipula came free, but Zeledon Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Romano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Abella in the 33rd minute of the match. Diego Esquipula scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeledon Romano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Esquipula in the 45th minute of play forced Venancio AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Moise in the 57th minute of play forced JuiceWrld's goalkeeper Ruben Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Esquipula did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Zeledon Romano 58 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Diego Esquipula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Esquipula had several of the Venancio AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Zeledon Romano as he didn't even see the shot coming. Diego Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. When Bonifacio Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JuiceWrld's protests and gave Bonifacio Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. Bonifacio Fernandes hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Anselmo Abella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Zeledon Romano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorino Moise was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. JuiceWrld's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
