Ermegildo Azeari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Rito, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Roma's zone, Evelio Rito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Azeari came out of the goal and Evelio Rito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Primitivo Frans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Azeari having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Evelio Rito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Azeari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Lore received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oscar Hanni came out and tried to block the shot, but Aurelio Lore slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 43rd minute. Evelio Rito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Azeari having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evelio Rito made a kick off. Gabriel Miliano kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Roma's Genaro Mundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Hanni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 67th minute Aurelio Lore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evelio Rito's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Azeari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Genaro Mundo scored 3-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Hanni, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, ARSENAL D. T.'s Ladislao Guillerme got a free kick in the 81st minute. 88 minutes in the game, Primitivo Frans fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ermegildo Azeari having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, ARSENAL D. T.'s goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Mundo came free, but Oscar Hanni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Hanni came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Roma's Aurelio Lore. But to his dismay, Aurelio Lore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 95th minute, Evelio Rito fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Roma's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
