Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hipolito Veto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Victorino Moise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Quentin having to interfere. When Tancacha FC's Pascual Milio in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venancio AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute Pascual Milio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venancio AFC's zone, Hipolito Veto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Romano came out of the goal and Hipolito Veto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tancacha FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Hipolito Veto hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Tancacha FC's Evaristo Tartalo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hipolito Veto in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeledon Romano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Hipolito Veto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tancacha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Venancio AFC were furious when Arturo Benitez was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 31st minute, Arturo Benitez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Pascual Milio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Milio in the 49th minute of play forced Venancio AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorino Moise to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Tancacha FC's Zeledon Romano threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hipolito Veto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Pascual Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, Venancio AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Moise to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Venancio AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Romano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Milio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Milio got free with Zeledon Romano in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Hipolito Veto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Venancio AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Veto came free, but Zeledon Romano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Romano made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Pascual Milio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Veto in the 70th minute of play forced Venancio AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venancio AFC's zone, Pascual Milio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Romano came out of the goal and Pascual Milio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeledon Romano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascual Milio in the 80th minute. Hipolito Veto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benicio Quentin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Terciero, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Procopio during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Norberto Procopio kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Victorino Moise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Saturnino Terciero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Romano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Veto in the 97th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tancacha FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
