The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Min showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Robustiano Aguilera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robustiano Aguilera in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Min saved Candelaria from getting behind. Segba were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Candelaria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Saverio Cordarryl took the corner. After taking down the ball on Segba's corner Saverio Cordarryl fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rafael Min quite easily take care of the ball. 22 minutes in the game, Gabriel Honrio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Conrado Gartzen having to interfere. Erubiel Danel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Gartzen having to interfere. Conrado Gartzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Danel, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria's zone, Dionisio Justin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Min came out of the goal and Dionisio Justin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Segba fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Segba's Robustiano Aguilera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 39 minutes, Erubiel Danel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Danel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Dionisio Justin made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Min. Candelaria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Erubiel Danel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Candelaria players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Segba were winning 0-2.

Erubiel Danel succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Segba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Formerio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
