Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amador Llorian took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Fulgencio Lonzo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Classic fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Llorian in the 17th minute of play forced Classic's goalkeeper Samuel Eufemio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jonathan Quin came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Jockey Club Villa Maria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Quin couldn't finish the play. Samuel Eufemio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Quin in the 22nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Nicolas Vermudo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Classic's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Vermudo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Arnau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 played minutes Jockey Club Villa Maria got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Jaunzuria. Amador Llorian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Eufemio having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Vermudo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Fulgencio Lonzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Arnau was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jockey Club Villa Maria's Nereo Luar got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Vermudo scored 3-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ubaldo Arnau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ubaldo Arnau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Lonzo in the 68th minute of the match. Fulgencio Lonzo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ubaldo Arnau having to make a save. In the 74th minute Fulgencio Lonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Arnau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Eustacio Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the game, Victorio Kauldi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Classic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jockey Club Villa Maria the free kick. If Amador Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jockey Club Villa Maria's Ubaldo Arnau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Lonzo in the 85th minute of play. Nicolas Vermudo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Eufemio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Quin in the 90th minute. Classic were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jockey Club Villa Maria for a fine match.
