Camilo Jerrald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Gartzen having to interfere. Gervasio Martxot struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Conrado Gartzen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rayuela FC. Camilo Jerrald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Segba's Conrado Gartzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camilo Jerrald in the 20th minute of play. Camilo Jerrald struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Conrado Gartzen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rayuela FC. After a defensive mix-up in Segba's zone, Gervasio Martxot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Gartzen came out of the goal and Gervasio Martxot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rayuela FC's Camilo Jerrald got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Jerrald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conrado Gartzen stood somewhat misplaced when Camilo Jerrald came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 33 minute. After 38 played minutes Segba got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Oskarbi. After 39 played minutes, Rayuela FC's Eloy Heriberto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Conrado Gartzen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rayuela FC reached it. In the 40th minute of the match Sergio Jurgi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Gartzen skillfully saved the ball. When Rayuela FC's Camilo Jerrald in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Segba's goalie prevented a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Jerrald was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Bastia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Amadeo Cordario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Camilo Jerrald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Gartzen was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Gervasio Martxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Conrado Gartzen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conrado Gartzen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gervasio Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Jerrald in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Gartzen saved Segba from getting behind. In the 68th minute Romeo Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Gartzen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Segba's Robustiano Aguilera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 79th minute of the match Saverio Cordarryl shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Montel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Justin got free with Rodolfo Montel in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 minutes of play, Rayuela FC's Camilo Jerrald made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conrado Gartzen was left in no man's land by his defense there!
