Rayuela FC's Rodolfo Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Dolfo in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Chacras FC booed when Rayuela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Heriberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Maura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rodolfo Montel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Despite this Jimeno Fertus quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 66th minute of the match Rayuela FC got a corner. Chacras FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eloy Heriberto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jimeno Fertus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Jerrald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Vedillo charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rodolfo Montel. Chacras FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
