Lorenzo Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Fresco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Hermengildo Hanot hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Eugenio Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Ramos having to interfere. Eugenio Barto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Lorenzo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corralito AFC's Norberto Fresco got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Norberto Fresco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenzo Ramos was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto Fresco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The tension between the Hersilia FC and the Corralito AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
