The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Ignado got free with Rafael Min in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Honrio in the 21st minute of play forced THC FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Romildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Candelaria booed when THC FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Raulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. THC FC's Adrian Ignado got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustin Chorche in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Min saved Candelaria from getting behind. When Adrian Ignado came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the THC FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Ignado couldn't finish the play. Adrian Ignado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Rafael Min made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erubiel Danel was the one to do the kick off. Agustin Chorche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Romildo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Erubiel Danel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelino Bibiano kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Erubiel Danel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Romildo came out and tried to block the shot, but Erubiel Danel slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 74th minute. Agustin Chorche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Rafael Min tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Min came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by THC FC's Agustin Chorche. But to his dismay, Agustin Chorche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After 85 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Firmo. Gabriel Honrio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Ernesto Romildo made a huge save. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind THC FC's goalkeeper Ernesto Romildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Min didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustin Chorche went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
