Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vladimiro Benvide kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Vladimiro Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Min saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 7 minutes, Erubiel Danel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Danel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Erubiel Danel came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Candelaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Danel couldn't finish the play. Rafael Min made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Benvide in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Candelaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Firmo to maneuver through the defense. Cecilio Rey charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Rey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Hersilia FC got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Rey. When Hersilia FC's Vladimiro Benvide in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Candelaria's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Hersilia FC's Hermengildo Hanot got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Candelaria's Rafael Min played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Oto in the 27th minute of play. Rafael Min made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Benvide in the 31st minute of play. After 32 played minutes Hersilia FC got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Valery. 34 minutes into the match, Hersilia FC's Cayetano Oto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Min narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cayetano Oto took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Min. Rafael Min dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 44 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Gabrio. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erubiel Danel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Erubiel Danel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hersilia FC's Lorenzo Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Danel in the 57th minute of play forced Hersilia FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Candelaria getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Teofilo Gabrio hit a great ball. In the 60th play minute Cayetano Oto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rafael Min. 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Vladimiro Benvide kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rafael Min. That made the score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. Candelaria's Rafael Min proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Candelaria from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Oto got free with Rafael Min in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vladimiro Benvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Min having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Hersilia FC's Vladimiro Benvide ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafael Min. Rafael Min yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Erubiel Danel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Benvide came free, but Rafael Min reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Vladimiro Benvide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Candelaria supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hersilia FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Hersilia FC.
