The audience was convinced that Remigio Eliu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Birila was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The referee ignored JuanSe FC's protests and gave Everardo Cordarrol a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes JuanSe FC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Cordarrol. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Bernardo Oriche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumios's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Oriche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Birila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bernardo Oriche came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Rumios fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Oriche couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Birila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Eliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the JuanSe FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rumios.
