The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Gipuzkoa during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Verón FC booed when untalesteban was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Gipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Salbatore hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute of the match Ladislao Jaume shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Peli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Enzo Nevada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaston Perico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfredo Peli. Verón FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mauricio Salbatore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Uriel Luar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iker Lertxun to strike the kick off in the second half. If Iker Lertxun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Lertxun couldn't finish the play. Ladislao Jaume charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Jaume the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of untalesteban:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Verón FC:s goal. Iker Lertxun took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Luar. Uriel Luar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 91st minute, Enzo Nevada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Bernard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Alfredo Peli made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Verón FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
