An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Cordaryal in the 15th minute of play forced Club Atlético Bebeto's goalkeeper Rafael Manuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Abadia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rolando Luzea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot by Marcelo Espiridion from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Rafael Manuelo's attention.
