Aldo Dodorol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Guipuzkoa in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Navarro AFC booed when SLUNA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Tipi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Navarro AFC's Braulio Lordi got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, SLUNA F.C's Serafin Pirro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aldo Dodorol narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciro Beliran was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Braulio Lordi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Braulio Lordi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Aldo Dodorol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Pirro in the 30th minute of play. Amancio Afonso hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Serafin Pirro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Navarro AFC's Aldo Dodorol. Aldo Dodorol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. SLUNA F.C's Serafin Pirro got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dionisio Jacindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Braulio Lordi struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Ciro Beliran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Navarro AFC. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Braulio Lordi to strike the kick off in the second half. Laureano Guipuzkoa charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laureano Guipuzkoa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SLUNA F.C's Laureano Guipuzkoa got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 60 played minutes Navarro AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Afonso. Rigoberto Tipi's shot from long distance in the 61st minute was not bad at all, but Navarro AFC's Aldo Dodorol knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Aldo Dodorol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Guipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 68 minutes, Laureano Guipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SLUNA F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Guipuzkoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serafin Pirro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Aldo Dodorol made a huge save. In the 78th match minute, SLUNA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Norino to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Lordi in the 79th minute of the match. Laureano Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Dodorol having to interfere. Serafin Pirro scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldo Dodorol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The SLUNA F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SLUNA F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
