Goldney AFC's Bonifacio Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Gabino in the 34th minute of play. Gabriel Jeraldo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Bonifacio Arias skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Henrico in the 51st minute of play forced Goldney AFC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Alonzo Gabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match Goldney AFC got a corner. Villars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Santos Caradaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Goldney AFC's Santos Caradaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Francisco Belmiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gabriel Jeraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bonifacio Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Tartalo took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Belmiro. Francisco Belmiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Lucas Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Belmiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Lopes's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicanor Tartalo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Francisco Belmiro. That made the score 1-3 in the 84 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Ramiro Celipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 88 minutes, Gabriel Jeraldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
