Soldado de Romero's Maximino Florian got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Carlos Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Deunoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Soldado de Romero's Silvano Bazil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Horado in the 20th minute of play. Silvano Bazil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Tebaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Venancio Cordarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Deunoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Cesar Transito fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rosendo Deunoro, passed just outside the right post. Venancio Cordariuss short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Rosendo Deunoro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes into the match, Soldado de Romero's goal looked a bit too open when Blas Tebaldo came free, but Silvano Bazil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Cordarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Rosendo Deunoro made a huge save. In the 36th minute Cesar Transito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Deunoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosendo Deunoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Florian in the 37th minute of the match. If Carlos Mantzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Mantzio in the 39th minute of play forced Los Cachos F.C.'s goalkeeper Rosendo Deunoro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Bazil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Pierres, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Gerardo Nikola's late challenge caught a Soldado de Romero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerardo Nikola helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Mantzio might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rosendo Deunoro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Mantzio ran back to his position shaking his head. Soldado de Romero were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
