In the 17th match minute, Goldney AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Pinto to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Goldney AFC's Leonel Pinto got a free kick in the 20th minute. Fernando Lopes's late challenge caught a Loco de la Ruta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Lopes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Loco de la Ruta FC booed when Goldney AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Goldney AFC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Erlantz. Miguel Erlantz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Bonifacio Arias when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jeremias Dei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Lopes went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Leonel Pinto hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Goldney AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Miguel Erlantz scored to the left of an out of position Bonifacio Arias, making the score, 1-2. In the 46th minute, Godofredo Gaufred sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Goldney AFC's Bonifacio Arias didn't even have to move. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Erlantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bonifacio Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Leonel Pinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fernando Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Miguel Erlantz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bonifacio Arias was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Bonifacio Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Pinto was shown his second yellow card after 65 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Loco de la Ruta FC booed when Goldney AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos Caradaro kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Goldney AFC's Bonifacio Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Lluis in the 77th minute of play. Bonifacio Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Erlantz in the 78th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Goldney AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Lopes to maneuver through the defense. Loco de la Ruta FC were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Goldney AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Godofredo Gaufred took the corner. The corner ended in Godofredo Gaufred almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Goldney AFC's Bonifacio Arias did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Erlantz in the 85th minute of play forced Goldney AFC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jeremias Dei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Loco de la Ruta FC's goalkeeper Jeremias Dei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicanor Tartalo.
