After 27 minutes, Silvestre Hibai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calzada and the Cuervos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silverio Olando took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosme Pirmin. Calzada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 38 minutes into the match, Cuervos FC's Froilan Mark sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Elorri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascual Opilano during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55thth minute of the game Silverio Olando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuervos FC's Cosme Pirmin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silverio Olando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Pirmin having to interfere. Cosme Pirmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Olando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Pascual Opilano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cosme Pirmin. Cuervos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pascual Opilano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Gentza got free with Mauricio Elorri in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Olando in the 78th minute of play forced Cuervos FC's goalkeeper Cosme Pirmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Silverio Olando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
