Spectators: 6482 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 945, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnaldo Urtats started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Haumonia getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Orlando Gonzalez hit a great ball. Edelmiro Aureo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 5 minutes, Elpidio Karlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haumonia and the Lavalle players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lavalle booed when Haumonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Karlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 9 minutes on the clock, Lucio Fonso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lavalle fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Marco Aires shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 17th minute Esteve Veronica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldo Lehoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Inautzi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Osvaldo Lehoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Urtats in the 21st minute of the match. Lavalle's Salvador Herauso got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Lehoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Urtats, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Osvaldo Lehoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Urtats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haumonia's Anastasio Inautzi got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Salvador Herauso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Carlomagno having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Edelmiro Aureo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Salvador Herauso came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Lavalle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salvador Herauso couldn't finish the play. If Salvador Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 minutes of play, Haumonia's Arnaldo Urtats made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Lehoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Haumonia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Salvador Herauso made the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Osvaldo Lehoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Veronica hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Salvador Herauso made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Carlomagno. Haumonia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Salvador Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Lehoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Urtats in the 71st minute of play. Arnaldo Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Osvaldo Lehoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Urtats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lavalle's Osvaldo Lehoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Veronica in the 85th minute of play. After 86 played minutes, Haumonia's Marco Aires shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Osvaldo Lehoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Haumonia reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Urtats in the 92nd minute of play forced Lavalle's goalkeeper Osvaldo Lehoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Herauso scored 2-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leandro Carlomagno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lavalle had won after a very even match.
