In the 29th minute of the match, Feliberto Quintan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Faustino Librado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. During the 35th minute of the match Damian Lapurdi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. If Domingo Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonardo Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Faustino Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Gică Floruțiu made the kick off in the second half. Faustino Librado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Faustino Librado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Conrado Gustau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gică Floruțiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celedonio Ramond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gică Floruțiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Viento FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
