Isaac Lertxun came out of the goal and Eustacio Gentza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Elvio Ederono fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético San Martin's protests and gave Elvio Ederono a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético San Martin's Elvio Ederono got a free kick in the 16th minute. A hard and well directed shot from Tiburcio Quintyn led 17 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Club Atlético San Martin's Isaac Lertxun became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. Cosme Pirmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Beremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Club Atlético San Martin's Marcelino Fidele got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosme Pirmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Fidele in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match Francisco Txindoki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaac Lertxun skillfully saved the ball. Marcelino Fidele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaac Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amancio Nataniel during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Club Atlético San Martin getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Amancio Nataniel hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match, Froilan Mark tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Isaac Lertxun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Eliseo Beremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelino Fidele to strike the kick off in the second half. Francisco Txindoki hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd match minute, Club Atlético San Martin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Bordat to maneuver through the defense. Eliseo Beremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Marcelino Fidele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Pirmin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Mark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 63 minutes, Froilan Mark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Mark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carmelo Semeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cuervos FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Mauro Viator hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Club Atlético San Martin's Marcelino Fidele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cosme Pirmin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isaac Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Gentza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Alvarez hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the match Tiburcio Quintyn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaac Lertxun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético San Martin's zone, Froilan Mark stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Lertxun came out of the goal and Froilan Mark tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaac Lertxun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustacio Gentza in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Roman Rodas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froilan Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Lertxun having to interfere. When Cuervos FC's Eustacio Gentza in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético San Martin's goalie prevented a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
