Spectators: 7181 (Terracing: 5388, Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) After 3 played minutes Guardamonte got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Ruisko. After a rather tough play, Guardamonte's Ariel Sandalio got a free kick in the 6th minute. Alonzo Mateus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Anacleto Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Alonzo Mateus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Guardamonte fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Guardamonte's Antonio Ruisko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Matará getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Honorio Hustaz hit a great ball. Paulo Nel kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Florencio Napier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Efrain Mendiko having to make a save. Alonzo Mateus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Totakoxe hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Marcial Errolan, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Anacleto Montez came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Guardamonte's Antonio Ruisko. But to his dismay, Antonio Ruisko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Antonio Ruisko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guardamonte's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Ruisko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anacleto Montez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 48 minutes, Alfonso Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matará's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Gudesteo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Matará players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guardamonte were winning 0-2.

61 minutes into the match, Guardamonte's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Gudesteo came free, but Efrain Mendiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Mendiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justo Sansone in the 69th minute of the match. Alfonso Gudesteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Alfonso Gudesteo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Efrain Mendiko. Guardamonte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso Gudesteo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Alfonso Gudesteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efrain Mendiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Gudesteo in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Guardamonte defense, Florencio Napier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Mendiko. The Guardamonte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Mendiko should have stopped the shot. Alonzo Mateus who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Anacleto Montez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
