Felix Venerando kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With his leg Fermin Ostadar managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when GIMNASIA LA PLATA's 苏青勇 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 14th minute, Dante Benvido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GIMNASIA LA PLATA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The GIMNASIA LA PLATA fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when GIMNASIA LA PLATA's 苏青勇 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fermin Ostadar stood somewhat misplaced when 苏青勇 came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 26 minute. When Felix Venerando fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suardi FC's protests and gave Felix Venerando a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th play minute Fidel Bixintxo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fermin Ostadar. 4-0. After a rather tough play, GIMNASIA LA PLATA's 苏青勇 got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Benito Aureo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Jago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Blanco got free with Fermin Ostadar in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

51 minutes into the match, GIMNASIA LA PLATA's 苏青勇 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fermin Ostadar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Benedicto Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fermin Ostadar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Suardi FC's Arnoldo Jesco got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermin Ostadar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 苏青勇's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. With a little luck, GIMNASIA LA PLATA's Ismael Jago got control of the ball when Conrado Donio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ismael Jago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Jesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Suardi FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 苏青勇 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 苏青勇 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that GIMNASIA LA PLATA were the better team. GIMNASIA LA PLATA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
