Spectators: 7234 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Maconia FC's Bernabe Indalecio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Tomás Eneas collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 6 minutes, Fernando Totakoxe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matará and the Maconia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernando Totakoxe kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Justo Sansone's late challenge caught a Maconia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Sansone helped the player get up and apologised. When Maconia FC's Genaro Azeari in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matará's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genaro Azeari in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anacleto Montez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cayetano Norino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Gudesteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Norino came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Matará's Florencio Napier. But to his dismay, Florencio Napier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 26th minute Genaro Azeari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Norino made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Florencio Napier sent off a good shot on target. Alfonso Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Norino having to interfere. After 35 minutes, Justino Merexildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matará and the Maconia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Matará got a freekick which was hit by Justino Merexildo. Anacleto Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Azeari in the 36th minute of play. Florencio Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cayetano Norino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Filomeno Umea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maconia FC and the Matará players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Maconia FC got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Umea. Cayetano Norino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Gudesteo in the 40th minute of the match. With his leg Cayetano Norino managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Matará's Florencio Napier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jairo Cilio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anacleto Montez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Florencio Napier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Gudesteo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Cayetano Norino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matará. Alfonso Gudesteo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Norino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Alfonso Gudesteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Norino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Totakoxe hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When Julian Munio fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matará's protests and gave Julian Munio a yellow card for diving instead. Abel Satordi struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Anacleto Montez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maconia FC. Alfonso Gudesteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cayetano Norino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
