After a defensive mix-up in Roman's zone, Cleto Espiridion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Iigo came out of the goal and Cleto Espiridion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th match minute, RAVIOLERA AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Millrick to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Roman's Bernardo Ipar got a free kick in the 29th minute. With a little luck, Roman's Marco Iigo got control of the ball when Astor Estebe tried to sneak it across the goal line. RAVIOLERA AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Estebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Iigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cleto Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Roman booed when RAVIOLERA AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Costante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astor Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Marco Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cleto Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, Cleto Espiridion made a precise shot to the right of Marco Iigo. Roman's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 90 minutes into the match, Cleto Espiridion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Iigo. Roman's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cleto Espiridion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 95th minute Astor Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. RAVIOLERA AFC had played much better football throughout.
