Spectators: 7191 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gogo Mergildo made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Alderetes's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Mergildo came free, but Aristides Illart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Gogo Mergildo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aristides Illart. After having played for 12 minutes, Filiberto Dei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alderetes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Dei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gervasio Pello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Alderetes booed when Estudiantes F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Eate didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Estudiantes F. C.'s zone, Filiberto Dei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Loi came out of the goal and Filiberto Dei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gogo Mergildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Alderetes got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Enaut. In the 45th minute, Marcial Ignado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Mergildo in the 46th minute of play forced Alderetes's goalkeeper Aristides Illart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Loi made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Ceferino Otsoa sent off a good shot on target. The Alderetes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Estudiantes F. C. were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filiberto Dei to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Otsoa in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeo Loi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute, Filiberto Dei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Filiberto Dei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Illart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Mergildo in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Estudiantes F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Dei came free, but Amadeo Loi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Pello struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Aristides Illart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes F. C.. Gervasio Pello might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristides Illart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Pello ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute Ceferino Otsoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Loi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Dei, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Gervasio Pello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Aristides Illart when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Clodoveo Isidor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 99th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amadeo Loi. Estudiantes F. C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
