Marco Iigo had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Erasmo Ekaitz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 85th minute Fernando Romelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Iigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Jeraldo in the 86th minute. Hernan Urre charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
